about

Debut EP.

In the not too distant future the world will no longer know war. Pestilence and famine will cease to be.

Why?

Because the world is too busy rocking to the sounds of 3 Parts Red to worry about what one country said about another countries mum. How did this four piece succeed where Bank Ki Moon, Kofi Anan and Superman have failed?

It starts with a classically trained jazz singer called Lara Mitchell who had a vision of bringing harmony to the world through music. Feeling that 10 minute sax solos and scatting wasn't where it was at, she struck out on her own and started writing the songs that would one day bring despots to their knees.

Lara decided that things needed "gingering" up a bit and roped in her niece; Sarah "Bass monster" Walton to bring the low end rhythm to things. Sarah set about recruiting the rest of the gingers to the band.

Heeding the call and arriving astride a monstrous Les Paul carved from Mount Olympus by Zeus himself was Martin Hornagold. Martin fell off and banged his head. He's okay now though (ish).

To complete the line up a drummer was needed. A man whose rhythm was legendary, whose stickmanship was world renowned, a man who channelled the greats. They made do with Scott Crossland.

Together they forged ahead with the songs that would eventually transcend boundaries and borders, make armies put down their weapons and make the kids rock all night.
So come and see 3 Parts Red. Come and see them before they get their Nobel Peace Prize and start gouging on ticket prices…
